How to prepare before a session?

So that the treatment is administered on the same bulb, we ask that you do not wax your hair and always shave, cut or bleach your hair. On the other hand, we remind you that the care can only be given to you if you arrive at your appointment beforehand shaved.*

*If your technician must proceed to shave the regions in view of the treatment, you will be charged $10 per region.

 

How many sessions will I need?

We recommend 8 sessions per package. You may have had less... or more. It all depends on your hormonal system and your hair cycle.

How can my hormonal system influence the success of the treatment?

The female body experiences hormonal fluctuations and this is how pregnancy, a problem with the ovaries, hyperthyroidism or even menoposis can influence your hair growth. If you have any concerns, you can always ask your family doctor to order a hormone test.

Is microneedling treatment right for me?

Biof course, it is always more effective to consult one of our technicians. However, if you suffer from any of the skin problems below, this treatment may be the right one for you:

What type of microneedling technology do you use?

Following several medico-aesthetic research, our choice fell on the Dermapen since, in our opinion, Dermapen is the most effective technology while being the softest for your skin.

What is the recommended number of sessions for skin rejuvenation, treatment of acne scars and stretch marks (general rule)?

• Rejuvenation: 4 to 6 sessions at 4 week intervals

• Acne scars: 6 sessions at 6 week intervals

• Stretch marks: 4-6 sessions at 4-6 week intervals

Generally, the results are visible from the first session. Lasting and more significant results will be visible after 4-6 sessions (at 4-6 week intervals). Your skin's structure will continue to improve over the 6-12 months following the treatment, especially if you combine it with the recommended post-treatment care.

Is the treatment painful?

On site, we will apply a cream that will numb your skin. You will only feel a few tingles.

What is Elōs technology?

Elōs is the first technology, both safe and comfortable, to combine the energies of radiofrequency and light to effectively treat the skin and restore its youthful appearance.

Peeling

Is the peel chemical?

This question is the most popular and stems from a popular misunderstanding of the chemical term since the simple fact of breathing is a chemical reaction and the molecule of water (H2O) exists thanks to a chemical reaction. However, the treatment is innocuous.

​

How is the treatment going?

You will begin the process with the first peel you will receive at the centre. Thereafter, one week after completing this step, you will be called upon to start a home treatment that we will provide to you. This stage is crucial and takes place over 8 weeks. Once the eighth week has arrived, you will go to the center a second time so that your technician can provide the last peel.

What is the home treatment? 

The treatment you will bring home with you is rich in 5 elements:

• Vitamin C: synthesizes collagen 

• Hydroquinone: slows down the synthesis of melanin (responsible for coloring)   it is important to note that only medical products can have a high concentration of hydroquinone.

• AHA acids: derived from fruits or milks capable of penetrating the skin and allowing skin rejuvenation

• Rethynol: boosts collagen production

• Peptide: strengthens the structures of major biological functions

Oxygen therapy

How is the oxygen facial treatment performed?

The skin is stimulated by serum-laden microbubbles whose sole purpose is to transport hyaluronic acid combined with vitamins and antioxidants to the deepest layers of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a molecule that has moisturizing potential and it nourishes collagen, which gives the skin its firmness. Hyperbaric oxygen helps serums penetrate deeper. It is also used to speed up the convalescence of the epidermis and to treat skin ulcers.

What about the results?

The epidermis seems revived, the under eyes are less tired, and the small furrows of the face are nicely filled. The skin looks much younger and radiant. It feels hydrated and nourished. Pigmentation blemishes fade, and there is a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment also works wonders when it comes to reducing inflammation and redness in the skin.

Is oxygen therapy only effective for the face? 

At the centre, we perform oxygen infusion treatments to treat both your face and your scalp. Indeed, this treatment is also effective against:

• Dandruff 

• Dryness of the scalp

• oily scalp

On the other hand, we will use in this case a somewhat different technique: the Oxygen WaterJet

What is WaterJet Oxygen?

The Oxygen WaterJet cleanses the scalp with the pressure of oxygen and saline water or specific serum at 200 meters per second. This cleansing frees the pores and removes any debris stuck under the skin, down to the dermis. In addition, this treatment improves the blood circulation of the treated part to prevent hair loss.

How many Oxygen WaterJet treatments do I need?

Oxygen WaterJet treatments are administered per session. The exact number of treatments may vary from person to person. Usually, treatments are carried out every 5 to 10 days. Then, maintenance treatments are recommended because they serve to maintain the result obtained.
